Knife Attack Defence Seminar

In a city like London, instances of knife attacks and stabbings are not uncommon.

The Met said it was called to more than 9,000 knife crime incidents in London in the year ending April 2016.

Although mostly linked to gang activities, knife crime can affect anyone as a number of cases have shown in recent years.

Learning basic self-defence techniques to protect yourself against this type of crime could save your life.

During the seminar you will learn the best solutions to defend yourself against a knife attack

The techniques come from the Urban Krav Maga system, a highly respected and established system with strong credibility in the Martial Arts and Self Defence community.

Urban Krav Maga integrates the best from a wide range of martial arts and fighting systems, and is continually updated to adapt to new threats.

All the techniques have been tested in real-life situations. They've been designed and refined with the direct input from people who had first-hand experience of knife attacks (namely security professionals, law enforcement and military personals), and with the lessons gathered from the extensive study of CCTV footages.

You will learn how to avoid and survive a knife attack:

  • how to spot the signs of an impeding attack
  • how to stop an attack with pre-emptives moves before it starts
  • how to defend against slash attacks
  • how to defend against straight stabs (long and short thrusts)
  • how to defend against icepick attacks
